Dr. David Hickson, board of directors
Dr. David Hickson serves on the SPBS Board of Directors. Dr. Hickson is also CEO and Managing Partner of MHSC Energy Management, LLC., an LED lighting solutions company operating throughout 24 states in the United States. Prior to this venture, Dr. Hickson served as CEO of an electronic auction platform for selling used medical devices. From 1999 to 2007, Hickson was the Founder, President and CEO of Intellamed, a national biomedical services company, until his successful sale of his company to UHS in 2007. He also served in additional leadership capacities with CIC Healthcare Corp., and Union Carbide Corporation as well as several local board and civil council positions in Bryan/College Station, including Mayor Pro-Tem. His experience culminates over 25 years of HTM industry leadership experience.
Dr. Hickson holds a M.S. and a Ph.D. in Food Chemistry as well as a B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University. In addition to sixteen journal articles and publications, Dr. Hickson has also received several accolades and honor awards throughout his career.
Born in Yokohama, Japan, Dr. Hickson currently resides in College Station, Texas with his wife.
